Description

Built for extreme loads — these are the custom 3D printed structural components used in our heavy-lift 8-motor MEGA drone.

Designed specifically for carbon tube arm mounting and structural reinforcement, these parts are optimized for strength, durability, and high-temperature performance using PAHT-CF (carbon fiber nylon).

These are the exact components used in our full-scale drone build capable of lifting extreme payloads.

All files are print-ready (.3MF) and oriented for optimal strength.

🧱 Material Recommendation

Primary: PAHT-CF (recommended)
Alternatives: Nylon-CF, PET-CF, ASA (for non-structural use)

⚠️ Do NOT use PLA for load-bearing applications

⚙️ Print Settings (Recommended)

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Walls: 6–8
  • Infill: 40–60% (Gyroid or Cubic)
  • Nozzle: Hardened steel (required for CF)
  • Bed Adhesion: Brim recommended
  • Dry filament before printing

💪 Performance Notes

  • Designed for high torque + vibration environments
  • Tested under heavy lift drone loads (~150+ lbs total system)
  • Excellent layer adhesion when printed correctly in PAHT-CF
