This is the first time I’ve combined historical photographs with my printed model using AI, carefully matching the shooting angle to echo the original images. The selected historical photo is the Panzer IV A during a military parade after the occupation of Sudetenland in 1938. I hope this fusion of history and modeling leaves a deeper impression on the audience. 😊
This time, I attempted to merge historical photographs with my printed model using AI, and deliberately shot from similar angles, allowing history and the model to echo each other in the frame. The selected image shows the Panzer IV Ausf.A participating in a military parade after the German occupation of Sudetenland in 1938. I hope this combination spanning time leaves a deeper impression on the audience. 😊
Two models included:
- Plate_01: Panzer IV Ausf.A (The same as the historical photo) - Panzer IV Ausf.A (The same as the historical photo)
- Plate_02: Panzer IV Ausf.A (with antenna guide under the gun) - Panzer IV Ausf.A (with antenna guide under the gun)
Plates are basically the same except the turret in Plate_02 has a Y-shape metal antenna deflector under the gun. So print based your own preference.
The only difference between the two plates is the Y-shaped metal antenna deflector under the gun. Please choose according to your preference.
Below is a photo for your reference The picture below shows the antenna position:

Recommend having a sprue cutter/nipper to help remove the supports.
It is recommended to use a sprue cutter to remove supports.
If you're printing Plate_02, please be careful when removing supports for the antenna.
If you choose Plate_02, please be careful when removing supports for the Y-shaped antenna.
