Slide & Flip Fidget Acorns — Print in Place!

These cute little acorn-shaped slide and flip fidgets are a fun twist on an already fun design! The smooth hinges and center joint let the acorns glide, rotate, and flip over each other with a satisfying clicky motion that makes these fidgets so hard to put down. They print completely in place with no assembly required, so you can pull them right off the plate and start fidgeting immediately. Print Notes:

• I recommend using at least 80% infill for these fidgets. The extra weight gives the pieces a more satisfying feel and helps create that nice “click” as they flip and settle together. It does make the print time longer, but in my opinion it’s absolutely worth it for the feel of the finished toy.
• If you prefer a lighter fidget (or want faster print times), you can lower the infill percentage.
• No supports are required.
• The toy may feel a bit stiff right off the build plate. Just twist and rotate a handful of times and it will loosen up nicely!
