Description

The Popcorn Maker Butter Melt Cup Thing

Lost the original? Cracked it? Melted it?
Here’s a replacement.

This is a direct-fit style butter melting tray designed for hot air popcorn makers that use top-mounted butter cups. It sits over the exhaust vent and uses rising heat to gently melt butter while your popcorn pops.

No oils. No fancy gimmicks. Just a simple, functional butter melt cup thing.

Features

  • Clean, simple geometry for easy printing
  • Reinforced base to resist heat warping
  • Slightly increased capacity over many stock trays
  • Smooth interior for easier cleaning
  • Designed for high-temperature filament use

Print Recommendations

This part is exposed to sustained heat from hot air popcorn machines.

Recommended materials:

  • Polycarbonate (PC)
  • Nylon or CF-Nylon
  • ASA

PETG may work but could deform over time.
PLA is not recommended.

Use high infill and at least 3–4 walls for best durability.

Important

This model is not certified as food-safe.
