Hexagonal Lamp – 3D Printed Decorative Light (4 Versions)

A modern decorative lamp featuring a geometric honeycomb pattern. Designed specifically for 3D printing and optimized for a striking light diffusion effect. When illuminated, it creates a warm ambient glow that highlights the hexagonal structure and adds depth to any interior.

📦 Available Versions (4 Models)

The lamp is available in four variants:

🔹 Tall Base

  • Version for standard E27 socket
  • Version for LED001 module

🔹 Short Base

  • Version for standard E27 socket
  • Version for LED001 module

This allows you to choose the configuration that best fits your components and preferred lamp height.

 

 

 

 

Guide

The lampshade itself was printed in orange PETG, while the hexagon inserts were printed separately in gray PLA. The parts were assembled using super glue.

 

For the tall base version, the hexagons also need to be glued in place.

IMPORTANT: If you are printing the hexagons without using the provided print profile, make sure to orient each hexagon exactly as shown in the image. A different orientation will affect the dimensions of the part and it may not fit properly into the lampshade.

 

In the case of the LED001 lamp module, it is designed to be press-fit tightly into the base. For the E27 version, I designed custom threads specifically for the socket cover.

 

The tall E27 base includes a separate connector piece for attaching the socket housing with the bulb. This connector can be printed in any color, as it remains hidden after assembly.

 

In the future, I plan to add a version compatible with an addressable LED strip to achieve a dynamic rainbow lighting effect. 🌈
