Grass Block Twisty Fidget
At first glance, it’s a familiar grass block; Then it moves.
This design reimagines the iconic cube as a transforming mechanical object. With a smooth rotational motion, the compact block expands into a vertically staggered terrain formation - revealing layered geometry inspired by cliffside landscapes. Collapse it back, and it returns to a clean cube.
It’s equal parts display piece, kinetic sculpture, and tactile puzzle.

Design Intent
The goal was not just to make a fidget, but to engineer a controlled transformation:
- Precise segment alignment for consistent rotational travel
- Balanced internal tolerances for smooth motion
- Visual continuity between cube and expanded terrain form
- Strong structural integrity once assembled
The transformation is deliberate and satisfying — not loose, not gimmicky.
Printing Configurations
- AMS Version (Multi-Color Integrated Print)
- Non-AMS Version (Superglue the grass onto the bown mud block)
Both versions are dimensionally identical in motion and function.
