Description

UPDATE 2026-03-01:

  • Improved snaps on the connecting plate and front panel for a better fit. If you print the new set, be sure to use adaptive layer height for better results.
  • Added PDF artwork on legal size paper. 2 sets; full sides and split sides.

UPDATE 2026 03-03:

  • Improved artwork files

This kit can transform your GRS Build-A-Cade into a Battlezone replica. While it's not an exact copy of the official Atari Battlezone cabinet, it is a fairly decent representation to show your appreciation for this arcade classic.

The kit includes the wing panels, front connecting plate, press on scope faceplate, joystick toppers, and a step base.

I printed most parts at 0.2mm layer height and used adaptive layer height for the front panel and connecting plate. I used 0.08mm layer height for the joystick tops.
Standard supports on build plate only.

To assemble, press both wing panels onto the connecting plate and press the assembly into the front of the Build-A-Cade. It should snap in with some force.
Remove the red ball tops from the dual joysticks and press the new tops on.
Press the base onto the bottom.
Press the scope panel into place for display, and remove for play.

The PDFs use Legal size paper (8 ½" x 14"). I used photo paper and double-sided tape.
