Standard PLA profiles are entirely unsuited for this specific tool, as brittle PLA snaps inside the caulk tube. This profile has been engineered from the ground up specifically for Bambu PETG HF using a High Flow Hotend. It combines high-speed volumetric extrusion for the handle with advanced slicer modifiers designed to maximize torsion (twisting) resistance, shear strength, and Z-axis layer adhesion in the critical areas.Specific Modifications Made &amp; Justification of Necessity:<ul><li>Modification 1: High Flow Hotend &amp; PETG HF Calibration<ul><li>Justification: Standard PETG profiles do not utilize the capabilities of a High Flow nozzle. I optimized the Max Volumetric Speed, temperatures, and cooling specifically for Bambu PETG HF. This allows the thick handle to print rapidly, while seamlessly transitioning to slower, stronger extrusions in the tool&#39;s critical stress points.</li></ul></li><li>Modification 2: Precision Height Range Modifier (Z-Axis Optimization)<ul><li>Justification: A uniform layer height compromises either strength or detail. I utilized a Height Range Modifier to print the thick T-handle at 0.24mm for maximum structural integrity. The moment the tool transitions to the threaded needle, the profile automatically switches to a fine 0.16mm layer height, ensuring the threads are sharp enough to mechanically cut into hardened caulk.</li></ul></li><li>Modification 3: Junction Reinforcement Modifier (6 Walls + 100% Infill)<ul><li>Justification: The 90-degree intersection where the thin needle meets the T-handle is the critical failure point (shear stress). I placed a custom modifier exactly at this junction, forcing 6 wall loops and 100% solid infill. This anchors the needle deeply into the handle, preventing the head from snapping off when pulling the tool out.</li></ul></li><li>Modification 4: Shaft/Needle Reinforcement Modifier (3 Walls + 100% Infill)<ul><li>Justification: The long needle must survive high rotational torque. I added a modifier along the entire length of the needle forcing 3 wall loops and 100% infill, ensuring the shaft acts as a solid, twist-resistant core rather than a hollow, brittle shell.</li></ul></li><li>Modification 5: Localized Speed Reduction for Layer Adhesion (100 mm/s)<ul><li>Justification: Even with High Flow capabilities, PETG needs time to melt and bond properly to survive extreme Z-axis tension. Inside both modifiers (the junction and the needle), I specifically reduced the outer wall speed to 100 mm/s. This slower speed maximizes thermal bonding between layers, virtually eliminating the risk of the needle delaminating inside the caulk tube.</li></ul></li></ul>Tested &amp; Verified: Printed successfully on a High Flow setup using Bambu PETG HF. The combination of HF tuning and these specific modifiers creates a tool that will flex and twist under heavy load but will not snap. See attached real-life photos.&nbsp;
