Description
From Caravan to Floating Dream
The inspiration for this model came from my own Hobby Deluxe 545 KMF
Instead of copying it 1:1, I completely redesigned the caravan at a scale of 1:32, freely according to my own ideas. The characteristic lines are retained, but the design is my own interpretation
The idea
What if a caravan could not only travel but also float
This is how a houseboat was created, combining the feeling of camping with maritime freedom, complete with a roof terrace, parasol, and many lovely details
🛠 Print & Construction
- Completely self-designed (only the flowers are decor, everything else is original)
- Small parts with 0.08 mm layer height
- Main parts with 0.16 mm layer height
- Very few support structures
- All parts carefully assembled and glued
This model is more than just a 3D print for me
It combines personal memories with creative freedom, transforming a familiar caravan into a floating retreat
Note:
This is a fan project, freely designed but inspired by the original caravan. There is no connection to the manufacturer "Hobby". The design is based on our own caravan and has been scaled and simplified for the model
