I originally designed this clip for my 1994 Peugeot 306 Cabrio because the factory retainer was no longer holding the hood prop rod securely. My goal was to create a simple, sturdy and reliable replacement that can be 3D printed easily – without supports and with minimal post-processing.

The geometry is intended to be fairly universal, so it should work for many similar vehicles, not just the 306. Printed in PETG, it offers good heat resistance and durability, making it a practical long-term replacement for worn or broken OEM clips. A small but genuinely useful upgrade for everyday use.
