Gridfinity 42×42 Base w/ Full & Half Box

A custom-designed Gridfinity-compatible 42×42 mm base unit engineered for flexible storage solutions — compatible with standard Gridfinity grids and custom box sizes created by me. This model brings optional magnets and half-box support right into your 3D-printed workflows. Designed to fit seamlessly with other Gridfinity components while adding uniquely practical features.

Gridfinity 42×42 mm Standard Fit — Built to the official unit size, fits in any Gridfinity baseplate grid. 

Optional Magnet Insert (6×2 mm) — Printed recess for magnets that can be installed if you want extra hold-down strength; works great even without magnets for a clean print and lowered cost. 

Dual Baseplate Sizes Included — Comes with designs for both a full box and a half-box, enhancing drawer fitment and versatility. 

Custom Box System Integration — All boxes are sized to work with our custom drawer setups and maximize storage efficiency.

Precision Tolerances — Designed with realistic tolerances to minimize wobble but still be easy to print.

✔ Works well with PLA, PETG, ABS (adjust settings for your filament). 

✔ Print without supports in most orientations.

✔ Magnet cavities sized for a snug fit — adjust slicer tolerances if needed.
