Description

This is the forty fifth day of a project to make every mini in the 2014 Monster Manual for my friend who is planning a gauntlet game - we will be fighting every monster in it!

I'll be doing one monster a day until it's done. Follow the collection and my page to see how they turn out!

These are made using Makerlab's Image to 3D model, and then tidied up in Blender.

Today's monster is the snake centaur with too many arms - the Marilith!

Some of the greatest warriors and tacticians of the Abyss, these demons can turn the tide of a Blood War battle in their favour.

It is scaled to fit a 50mm base as a large creature - but can be scaled to fit your needs.

Please take care when rescaling that the parts are thick enough to print.

I have included a no base profile if you want to base it yourself.

Please take care removing supports, especially on the swords.

Snipping the supports is a good idea. Be careful not to mistake an arm for a support when snipping.

Remember, superglue works magic!

Pictured grid is 2cm X 2cm.

Weird artifacts fixed on this model:

  • Susprisingly little for such an odd creature
  • The tail needed flattening out to print better
  • The arms and swords got beefed up a bit

I have lots of models for you to print:

Happy gaming!

thanks for the rating, did it look like a support broke, or did the whole print shift? if it was the support I'll take a look at changing the profile, if it's layer shift this would be an adhesion issue.
