Description

The remote head mount for the Kenwood TM-D710a/g left a lot to be desired. A ball mount makes much more sense for placement in a vehicle as it has become the standard for most in-vehicle equipment. Feel the same? Cool. I got you.

The mount has been fully sketched and setup for you. I recommend the settings it is published with not only for a clean print for this part, but also for you and your machine. Simply download and print. Care has been implemented for smooth contours and easy support removal while using a .04 nozzle.

I made the mount a tad thicker than the metal counterparts. This is not only for rigidity, but for tight fitment too (no slop, no rattle) which means you will need to apply light force to install on your head unit. Ribbing has been added…for everyone's pleasure? This helps to make it more robust.

I will be adding a mount solution for the base unit here soon. It will be a generic-type cage that can be used to adapt to any car/truck so stay tuned if you need a mounting solution for that also.

This WILL work for the D710a/g
