Description

Boost Me (for free)

This clip was designed for my Supra — and you all know a Supra needs boost 😉

Jokes aside, I release everything I make for free. If this design helped you out, feel free to send a boost. It’s greatly appreciated and helps support my prototyping and future projects.

This mounting bracket was specifically designed for installation in my racecar and it securely holds two AN8 hardlines along with one 3/16" brake line in a clean and organized layout.

The bracket keeps proper separation between the lines while minimizing vibration, making it suitable for performance-oriented fuel and brake system installations where reliability is critical.

Features

  • Supports: 2x AN8 hardline tubes (13mm dia)
  • Supports: 1x 3/16" brake line (5mm dia)
  • Countersunk holes for M6 socket head screws
  • Center-to-center mounting hole spacing: 45 mm
  • Clean, low-profile installation

Installation

Two holes must be drilled in the chassis with a 45 mm center-to-center spacing.

The bracket can be mounted using:

  • M6 bolts with nuts on the reverse side
  • Use rivnuts/threaded inserts for a cleaner and more serviceable solution
  • Self-tapping screws (if appropriate for the mounting surface)

Mounting method depends on accessibility and personal preference.

Material & Print Recommendations

Since this bracket secures safety-critical lines, material choice is important.

  • ABS or ASA is strongly recommended for maximum durability and temperature resistance. Use ABS preferrably as it's less prone to creep.
  • PETG may work in colder climates, but it is not the safest long-term option in high-heat environments such as engine bays.
  • There is no PLA print profile provided, as PLA is not suitable for safety-related automotive components due to its low heat resistance and long-term creep behavior.

Custom Requests

If you like the design but require different dimensions, feel free to contact me. I’m happy to create and upload a revised version tailored to your specific measurements.
