Description
My locking latch on my 1st Gen 4Runner broke off, and it was impossible to unlock the tailgate. I whipped this up really quickly. I used a 5-minute epoxy to bond it on. Now I can unlock the tail gate fine. I made the hole in the part deeper than needed, so make sure you check what height you want it before the epoxy sets.
I printed this out of ASA-CF so it doesn't warp or melt. I also printed it in this orientation so it doesn't snap along the layer lines as you pull up and down.
I also saw this model cause my rear seat unlatch tabs were busted. Apparently, they work on a bunch of different Toyota cars. Check them out. Also printed out of ASA-CF
