Description

I will do my best to explain. Therec are 3 different seat styles one is fixed one is adjusted by up to 3 bolts the other uses a lift cylinder i took mine from an ols harbor height stool im also using the cushions till i get my leather in. There are 5 holes around the top depending on sit configuation if you use lift cylinder you will tap some with a 5/16 tap the others let a ¼ inch bolt slide thru. I know im making this more confussing than it really is. If you have questions feel free to ask but after its printed it easy to fig out. I cleaned the holes with drill bit and ran  tap in the taped holes i recomend it. You will need ¼ 20 socket head cap screws lenght depends and if you use bottom shelf and so on i had to grind a tough off most of mine. again print it and it will make more sence. Im going to stop attempting to explain im making it sound more complicated than it it.

I should add it very strong i used petg cf  i weigh 230 and during testing i was bouncing up and down standing on it and i seen or felt no movement.

i used 3" office chair wheels with 7/16 or 11 mm shaft i did  clean out holes first. I hope you enjoy ive wanted a viper stool for years but wasnt going to pay there prices. This stool rolls over extensions cords and ¼" thick boards with me on it

Does anyone know the full measurements of the screws needed? is it all the same? I'm currently printing the adjustable height one, does that use a different screw/bolt then the rest? like the length and all measurements? can anyone maybe send me some links with the screws they used? Please and thank you!

My measurements are (with calipers): approximately 30mm is about 1 and 3/16 in for the bottom mounting screws next to the wheels with a shelf (10 of them needed), approximately 26mm without shelf approximately 60mm is about 2 and 3/8 in for the screw insert + adjustable height holes (3 of them pictured and in 3mf but 5 of them are possible) approximately 22.23mm is about 7/8 in for the screws mounting the supporting structure to the main structure (not this does not leave room for a nut so it HAS to be beyond 7/8 in) (15 of them needed, 10 on top for each supporting structure and 5 on the bottom) please let me know if any of this is incorrect or if there are better measurements

I would really recommend PETG cf but it’s your call I did some unscientific testing and thought pet cf would be better suited

Came out pretty decent. Had to increase walls and infill on the base for a bit of extra strength but it held me up. You're probably right the the PETG-CF would have been a better choice. Perhaps if the base fails ill replace it with that. Great Model though CHEERS to you!!!!

This is a tremendous design, thank you for sharing. May I ask one question, how did you get the wheels to lock into place in the holes. Thank you again

The office chair wheels have a little retaining ring that helps make it fit snug in hole. You just push it in hole its nice and tight in a 11mm or 7/16 hole

Awesome design. Haven’t printed it yet, but it definitely deserves a boost just for the design alone. Any chance you could add a couple of bottle holders and maybe a 3-inch wall around the base to help keep tools from sliding off?

Awesome job, I've always wanted 1 of those stools but couldn't see spending that much money on 1. This definitely moved to the top of my must print list. Boosted!
