Description

Design and create your own personalized chocolate bars!

This project lets you 3D print a custom chocolate bar as a master model, place it inside a matching mold housing, and cast a reusable silicone mold. Once cured, you can pour tempered chocolate into the silicone mold to produce chocolate bars with your own branding.

Perfect for gifts or just for fun :D

Chocolate will taste even better with a Boost :)

How it works:

  1. Design your own chocolate bar using the SVG swap function or use the blank template
  2. 3D print the bar as a master model
  3. 3D print the matching mold housing
  4. Secure the printed bar onto the pedestal inside the mold
  5. Apply a thin layer of release agent (petroleum jelly/Vaseline works as well)
  6. Pour food-safe silicone over the master (recommended: Shore A 20)
  7. Let it cure and remove the master model
  8. Use the silicone mold to cast your chocolate bars

Tip:

The holes in the mold housing are for securing the chocolate bar master from below.

I used M3 screws with heat-set inserts to make the system modular and reusable. This allows you to swap different bar designs while keeping the same mold housing.

If you don’t plan to change designs, you can simply glue the master model in place instead.
