Description
This is a wall mount hanger for the DeWalt DCE100 20V MAX Cordless Compact Jobsite Blower.
The key difference between this wall mount and the others here on Maker World is that this mount allows you to store the blower on it's narrower top profile instead of the wider side profile. Since I had limited space where I wanted to hang the blower on the end of my small parts organizer, this seemed like the best way to mount it. Fits nicely on the end cap with my DCV501 vacuum.
There are 4 modifiers in this model to provide extra strength only where needed.
- 2 Cylindrical ones that set 100% Concentric infill around the two screw holes for maximum strength in that area.
- 2 Rectangles around only the hanger arms that set the wall loops to 4 for just the arms since they are the only part that experiences any load.
The rest of the model will print with just 2 wall loops and 15% 3D Honeycomb sparse infill. This conserves filament, print time and still produces a strong, durable hanger. Any filament that will handle the temperature maximum of where you locate the hanger will work fine. I printed mine in PLA Tough+ since it lives in a climate controlled shop.
The label is not modeled in CAD but was added in Bambu Studio. The DCE100 label is an embedded cut text object and I printed the layers below the text in black with the rest of the model in yellow. If you don't want the label, you can just delete the Text Object. The color change happens at layer 45. If you want to print the hanger in a solid color, just remove the color change at layer 45 and re-slice. Easy, peasy.
