Add a touch of nostalgia to your workspace with this Retro TV Smartphone Holder. Designed to mimic the classic aesthetic of a 1970s/80s television set, this functional print is more than just a decoration.

It’s the perfect desk companion for watching videos, keeping an eye on notifications during work, or displaying a cool "static noise" screensaver (as seen in the photos!) while your phone charges.

Key Features:

  • 🎨 Easy Color Customization: The model is split into separate parts, allowing you to print the body, frame, knobs, and buttons in distinct colors on any standard single-extruder printer.
  • 📺 Vintage Aesthetics: Classic wood-style paneling, speaker grilles, and rotary knobs give it an authentic retro feel.
  • Cable Management: Features a dedicated opening on the right side to feed your USB charging cable through, keeping your desk tidy and your phone powered up.
  • 📱 Universal Fit: Designed to hold most standard-sized smartphones securely within the "screen" frame.

Printing Instructions & Recommendations:

This model is designed as a multi-part assembly.

  • Files Provided: I have shared both the individual STL files and a pre-configured .3mf project file.
  • Settings & Ironing: The .3mf file includes all settings ready to print. I have enabled Ironing on the top surfaces to achieve the smooth finish seen in the photos. These specific ironing settings work perfectly on my printer (Bambu Lab P2S), but feel free to disable Ironing in your slicer if you prefer a standard top layer finish or want a faster print. If you choose to disable Ironing, make sure to reset the Top surface speed to your default/normal value, as it is currently optimized (slower) for the best ironing results.
  • No AMS Needed: You do not need a multi-color printer system. Simply print each plate/file in your desired color filament.
  • Assembly: The parts are designed to fit together easily. A small amount of superglue (CA glue) may be required to secure the smaller parts like knobs and buttons permanently in place.
  • Material: PLA works perfectly.
  • Supports: Supports are only required for the main case (the largest part)
  • Infill: 15% gyroid is sufficient for strength.
