NeoFrame: RX-78 Edition

This backplate is designed to fit perfectly inside the NeoFrame, allowing you to reuse the same LED frame across multiple Gundam designs. The layered line art is optimized for LED backlighting, producing a clean, sharp illuminated silhouette when installed.

For best detail quality, a slicer modifier is included that prints the Gundam line work at 0.3mm line width for cleaner panel edges. If your printer struggles with thin lines, you can remove the modifier. A 0.2mm nozzle is recommended for maximum sharpness.

Optimized for clean printing, strong LED diffusion, and modular compatibility with future backplates.

Print Profile Versions Included:

- Single colored Version (No AMS Required)
Start with your base color.
Pause at layer #9 to switch filament for the Gundam body.
Optionally pause again at layer #14 to change the text color.

- 1 AMS Version (5 Colors)

For the 1 AMS version, you will need to manually swap the white filament at layer 14 to print the blue chest section.

1. Add a pause at layer 14 in your slicer.
2. When the printer pauses, manually heat the nozzle to 240°C or higher from the printer screen.
3. Press Extrude to push the filament slightly, then continue extruding while gently pulling it out until it completely releases from the nozzle.
4. Insert the blue filament into the extruder.
5. While the nozzle is still heated, press Extrude again until the new filament flows cleanly from the nozzle.
6. Once the blue filament is flowing consistently, resume the print.

Make sure the color transition is clean before resuming to avoid mixing.

Uses all 6 colors with two AMS units.
No manual changes required.

Assembly order:

1. Install the LED strip inside the white diffuser frame.
2. Insert this backplate into the dedicated slot.
3. Close the system with the black top frame.
