A highly detailed 3D model of a Nordic-inspired flowerpot designed in the style of intricate bone carvings. The cylindrical planter features raised Viking ornaments, interwoven knot patterns, and stylized dragon motifs. The surface resembles finely carved bone material with clearly defined relief structures and decorative bands along the top and bottom edges—perfect for showcasing nordic plants.

For the showcased print, Matte Bone-White was used for the outer “bone” shell and Matte Ash Gray for the inner drainage pot. The Bone Color enhances the authentic Nordic look and highlights the fine details beautifully.

🌿 Plant Recommendation

For a truly authentic Nordic aesthetic, ferns are highly recommended, as they enhance the natural and rugged character of the design.

For actual planting, it is strongly recommended to print the inner pot, as it includes a built-in drainage function that helps separate excess water properly.

While the outer pot features thick walls and a solid base that are sufficiently designed to be watertight, the inner drainage pot ensures better usability, improved longevity, and a cleaner planting experience.

🎨 Customization & Finishing

The look can be significantly enhanced with a brown wash. Thanks to the deep carvings, the wash distributes perfectly within the engraved details, dramatically emphasizing the ornamentation.

Additional painting or aging techniques allow you to customize the planter to your personal taste—turning it into a true one-of-a-kind piece.
