Description

1/6 Scale Sci Fi Action Base Stand

I have recently find it difficult to get a decent action base stand for my one sixth scale figures. Since I'm able to use sketchup, I decided to create this sci fi action base stand for my 12 inch action figures or any type of 1/6 scale action figures.

It's separated into 2 plates where the 1st plate is the plain action base and pole while the 2nd plate is meant to glue on top of the plain base to look a bit sci-fi in theme if you are into star wars, aliens, etc.

The design is rather medium in size and not too big so that it won't take up space in your awesome display shelves.

Note:

  1. Once the Plate 1 printed out, you need to flip over so that the textured surface is facing upwards before mounting the vertical stand pole.

  2. You may need to glue the pole's bottom of the peg base if you feel the pole is too loose. I design it to be fitting snuggly.

  3. The Plate 2 sci fi grill is meant to be glue on to the plain base should you choose to have this design. Please do use a hot air gun to clear all stringing from prints before glueing.

  4. “Hot Tip” - I sprayed flat clear coat on the pole to make it flat matte coated so that it's not too shimmering.
  5.  Unfortinately, you may need to use your existing wire holder to slot it into the pole or bend some wires by buying it from any hardware shop. Personally, I just use my old ones and slot it into the pole and call it a day!

Be sure to give me a boost ya if you like this! Thanks and have a good day.
