Description

Great Beast – Classic Monster in my Pocket (Series 1) Inspired Figurine!

By popular demand… the big one.

This is my modern re-imagining of Great Beast, the undisputed powerhouse of Series 1 and one of the most iconic sculpts in the entire Monster in my Pocket line. Seven snarling heads. Massive wings. Broad, planted stance. Absolute presence.

I’ve kept the instantly recognisable silhouette and pose — the spread stance, open claws, clustered heads, and that dominant, “final boss” energy — but enhanced the anatomy, musculature and surface detail to bring him up to modern 3D print standards.

The wings have been emphasised without becoming fragile, and finer spike details have been intentionally softened into more printable forms. This is designed to be a clean, solid print — dramatic but practical.

The model shown is printed at approximately 10cm tall, which gives the heads and torso plenty of presence without becoming unwieldy. It should scale reasonably well, though larger prints really let the detail breathe.

Supports aren’t especially difficult, but given the wings and multiple heads, some printers may benefit from slight tuning. As always, feel free to tweak settings — and if you dial in a particularly clean profile, please upload and share it with the community.

This is a single-piece display model — ideal for painting, display, or just looming over the rest of your desk like it’s 1991 again.

This project continues to be a nostalgia tribute to the golden age of pocket monsters — and if the demand keeps coming, I’ll keep bringing more of them back.

Happy printing. Long live Series 1!
