Cryobox for 2 ml and 1.5 ml cryotubes/vials. Best suited for room temperature storage, but
As for storage in -20 °C:
- PLA: Becomes extremely brittle and is very prone to cracking under any load. Not recommended.
- ABS / ASA: Retains good impact strength and toughness, making it a reliable choice for cold environments.
- PETG: Significantly increases in stiffness and brittleness, losing much of its durability. Only for low-stress use.
- TPU: Becomes much stiffer and loses flexibility, but generally remains tough and resistant to cracking.
- Nylon: Stiffens but typically retains excellent toughness and impact resistance for functional parts.
