X2D/P2S Active Carbon and HEPA Filter
Print Profile(2)

Description
Boost Me (for free)
The model is a refillable air filter as a replacement for the original internal air filter of the Bambu Lab P2S and X2D with an additional HEPA filter stage to also filter particles not filtered by the active carbon.
Any commercially available activated carbon pellets can be used. The only requirement is that it must be acid‑free.
With the filter, VOCs generated during printing are captured. Thanks to the HEPA filter stage it filters even more particles than plain active carbon.
Optionally, a filter fleece up to 3 mm thick can be used to keep fine activated‑carbon particles from escaping the filter. This isn’t strictly necessary but it is recommended to avoid contamination with carbon dust. The less finer the particles in your activated carbon are, the less critical the filter fleece becomes.
Print and Assembly Instructions:
It is recommended to use PETG or ABS/ASA for this filter.
- First print all three parts (only print the plate for the filter size you bought)
- Put the inlay in the outer shell which holds the HEPA filter and push it in (it should be a tight fit)
- Add the active carbon
- Add the (recommended, but optional) filter fleece
- Close the filter with the lid
- Install the HEPA filter
