Description

"Forward, for the Emperor!"

This 50mm figurine captures the spirit of a Napoleonic-era musketeer. Created using a cutting-edge workflow—transforming AI-generated art into a 3D model via Meshy—this print is a testament to how far home 3D printing has come.

The model is printed in PLA Matte White, which highlights the textures of the overcoat and equipment without the distracting glare of shiny filaments.

Technical Precision: To achieve this level of detail on an FDM printer (Bambu A1), I have meticulously tuned the following settings:

  • Layer Height: 0.12mm
  • Wall Generator: Arachne
  • Walls:
  • Infill: 15% Gyroid

⚠️ The "Bayonet" Warning: While the Slim Tree Supports are configured with a 0.16 top Z distance to ensure they "drop off" easily, the bayonet at the end of the gun remains extremely delicate. Please use extra caution when removing the final bits of support material from the tip of the weapon!
