Volvo Headrest Phone/Tablet Mount (17mm, 18mm, 25.4mm Ball)
Keep your backseat passengers entertained while maintaining the elegant interior of your Volvo. This mount is designed specifically for the unique headrest profile of modern Volvos, providing a rock-solid foundation for your mobile devices.
Compatibility
Designed and tested on a Volvo V60 (Gen II), but it should fit most modern Volvo models with integrated headrests, including:
- S60 / V60
- S90 / V90
- XC60
- Likely fits XC40 and XC90 as well!
Features
- Ergonomic Design: Positions the screen at eye level and maximizes the distance from the eyes. No more neck strain or looking down at your lap.

- Universal Ball Joint: Reuse the spring-loaded clamp from your old/cheap car mount! This design uses the industry-standard ball joint system.
Important: Choose Your Size
I have provided the clamp with three different ball diameters. Measure your existing phone/tablet holder joint before printing:
- 17mm (Standard - fits 99% of cheap mounts)
- 18mm
- 25.4mm (1")

Recommended Print Settings
To ensure durability and a premium look, please follow these suggestions:
- Material: Use heat-resistant filaments like ABS, ASA, or PETG. Standard PLA may soften and deform in a hot car during summer.
- Infill: 100% Infill is highly recommended for the ball joint and the connection arm to prevent snapping.
- Aesthetics: I recommend enabling "Fuzzy Skin" in your slicer for a professional, textured look that matches the car's interior.
- Note: Use a "Slicer Modifier" to disable Fuzzy Skin on the ball itself to keep it smooth for the clamp!
- Supports: Minimal supports may be needed depending on your orientation.
