Rootbound Reverie - male & female version

Rootbound Reverie is a sculptural composition built around a twisted, hollowed tree that curves upward in dramatic, organic lines. The trunk spirals and folds into itself, forming natural arcs that suspend a simple swing beneath one of its reaching branches.

The circular base anchors the composition with subtle ornamental detailing, while the roots spread outward in layered, flowing forms that give the structure weight and stability. The tree is the dominant element — not decorative background, but structural presence.

The seated figure rests on a suspended swing integrated directly into the branch. The pose is calm and grounded rather than dynamic, creating a quiet contrast between the tension of the twisting wood and the stillness of the human form.

Two interchangeable character interpretations are included:

Female Version – Draped fabric, softer posture, and flowing hair create a gentle silhouette that complements the curvature of the trunk.Male Version – Defined musculature and a more upright seated posture introduce a stronger visual counterpoint against the organic lines of the tree.
The result is the same scene interpreted through two different presences — one composition, two tonal variations.
