Description
This is P with a plan, I'm PP. This modular optical axis monitor riser is inspired by a desk lamp designed by Dieter Rams in 1998. Building upon the original, it can be customized like an IKEA pegboard.
Core Module—Optical Axis Base
Requires 4 12mm hard optical shafts for use, customize the length according to your desk size.
Studio Display Base
Requires a Studio Display without a height-adjustable stand for use, to prevent the optical shafts from bending under the monitor's weight, and is compatible with the Acasis 21-in-1 dock
Scaled Adjustable Speaker Stand
Recommended for use with Weiliang Audio DIY's Music Art No. 3 speakers
iPad Pro Storage Tray
Compatible with 2024/2025 11-inch iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard
Dual Ret retractable Cable Storage
Requires two Hagibis single retractable cables for use
CarThing
Compatible with iPhone 17 Pro Max. Requires MagSafe 2nd Gen (25W, no China National Aviation Corp.) and an Apple Watch braided charging cable for use
The core of this design is still the optical axis base. Other products are designed based on my personal usage habits, and everyone can define their own riser according to their needs. If you have also completed some designs on it, feel free to share them, I believe there are friends with the same needs as you. Looking forward to building a desktop IKEA pegboard with everyone~
