The missing piece in every maker's toolkit: a fully parametric square and rectangular panel plug system with mounting flange.

Four modes, one file:

• Plate only: flat cover plate, e.g. as flush blank or label holder
• Solid insert: knockout blank or hole plug that sits flush in a panel cutout
• Closed pocket: insert with a recessed cavity (sealed bottom), perfect for hiding cable ends or small component bays
• Open window: full through-cut cable entry with flange frame, the classic desk grommet or enclosure passthrough

What makes this different:

• True panel-mount flange: the base plate acts as a mounting rim around the insert - not just a plug, but a proper flush-mount frame
• M3–M5 countersunk mounting holes (DIN 963/965) with adjustable edge distance - screw it down, don't just press-fit it
• Scales from tiny 20 mm sensor grommets to full 350 mm enclosure panels
• Independent control over frame, insert, and window dimensions - rectangular shapes fully supported, not just square
• Auto-clamping logic prevents impossible geometry: walls, radii, and hole positions are always valid, no matter what you dial in

Default example (ready to print):

30 × 30 mm frame with 20 × 20 × 10 mm insert and 18 × 18 mm window opening. M3 holes at 4 mm from the edge. A compact demo that shows all features at a glance – scale it up from there.

Typical use cases:

• Desk cable grommets (square cutouts in tabletops or enclosures)
• Electrical panel knockouts and blank covers
• Sensor or connector pass-throughs in 3D printer enclosures
• Equipment rack blanking plates
• Any rectangular hole that needs a clean, flush-mounted cover or cable entry

Mount it with screws or glue it in place. Works for electrical panels, furniture, enclosures, organizers, or any project that needs a clean rectangular insert.
