READ CAREFULLY: This character is very detailed with many overhanging walls, making it an advanced and more complicated model to print. Use precautions: deep cleaning of the print bed, light use of glue, and filament calibration. Alternatively, use the “HORIZONTAL” print profile to avoid print failure! Take your art toy collection to the next level with this exclusive Bearbrick Skull model! This design features a unique fusion: one half in the classic smooth Bearbrick style and the other half revealing an intricate anatomical skeleton within.

The model is optimized for printing without AMS (the black parts and white skeletal parts are separated on different plates to be printed with different filaments).

🖨️ Essential Guide to Print Profiles

I have prepared two distinct print profiles. The choice depends on how much patience you have for post-processing and the level of quality you desire.

🔴 Profile 1: HIGH QUALITY (Standing Body) - FOR PATIENT PRINTERS

This profile offers the best possible aesthetic result, with smooth curves and defined details, by printing the body vertically.

⚠️ CRUCIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS PROFILE (READ CAREFULLY!) ⚠️

Vertical printing of this model is complex and requires specific settings to avoid failure. The provided 3MF project is already correctly configured, but it is vital that you know what has been set up:

1. "STRONG" TREE SUPPORTS (Tree Supports Strong): It is absolutely necessary to use tree supports in "Strong" mode. Normal standard supports will not hold the weight and overhangs of the arms and ribs.

2. brim (Edge): A generous brim has been activated to ensure that the tall and narrow model does not detach from the print bed during printing.

👉 IMPORTANT: If you decide not to use the provided preset, or if you import the bare STLs into your slicer, you MUST MANUALLY ACTIVATE "STRONG" TREE SUPPORTS AND THE brim. Without these two settings, standing printing will almost certainly fail.

• Post-processing: Arm yourself with a lot of patience and appropriate tools (fine snips, tweezers). Removing "Strong" supports requires time and delicacy to avoid breaking the thinner bones. However, the final result will be worth the effort!

🔵 Profile 2: STANDARD QUALITY (Lying Body) - Easier and faster

This profile prints the body oriented horizontally (lying down).

• Advantages: It is the most practical option if you want a simpler print. It requires fewer supports and their removal is much easier and less risky for the model.

• Disadvantages: The surface quality will be lower. Layer lines (stepping effect) will be much more visible on the curved parts of the head and body.

💡 Essential Printing Notes

• 🧼 BED CLEANING (CRUCIAL): For maximum adhesion, especially for the "Standing" profile which has a reduced contact surface, thoroughly clean the print bed with hot water and DISH SOAP (degreaser) immediately before starting the print. Do not rely solely on alcohol if the bed has been touched with hands; soap is the best method to remove grease.

• Material: It is recommended to use good quality PLA for better rendering of bone details.

Happy printing! If you appreciate the work and care in the profiles, leave a like and share photos of your finished Bearbrick in the comments! 👍
