This unique fidget toy blends the look of a dragon egg with a satisfying mechanism. The interconnected segments slide smoothly along a spiral track, while built-in stops keep everything securely in place so it won't fall apart. Perfect as a stress-relief toy, desk decoration, or a fun little gift!
Print & Slicer Settings
To ensure the mechanism works smoothly right off the build plate, please note:
- Scaling: You can scale the model UP, but do NOT scale it down! Shrinking the model will ruin the tight tolerances and cause the parts to fuse together.
- Bed Adhesion: A clean build plate is crucial. If the print fails or turns into "spaghetti", please give your bed a good wash.
- Use a Brim: If you generally struggle with bed adhesion, simply turn on a brim in your slicer to keep all the small parts locked down.
- Filament Tip: Standard PLA works perfectly. For the best visual effect, use Silk or Dual-Color filament to really make the spiral pop!
