IMPORTANT: For this model you´ll need to use glue. Some pieces (Depending on Filament used and 3D Printer) will fit perfectly in a way where mabe there´s no needed to use glue, even though I recommend you to use it (SuperGlue for small parts and SiliconGlue form big ones, ALSO THERE ARE SOME SMALL PARTS Where you´ll need to use small tools to manipulate them correctly notice this before starting to print).
For this project you´ll need to be very patient, as there´s a lot of very thin parts, due to the complexity of this model, also there´s lot´s of supports wich you´ll also need to remove very carefully. But as you can see the work is worth of your time :)
To have the full details/colours in some components you´ll need to use AMS or Multicolour systems, even though you can still print them in single colour.
The BMW M2 F87 marked a return to BMW M’s raw and compact performance roots, arriving in 2016 as the spiritual successor to legendary small M cars of the past and quickly earning a reputation as one of the most engaging modern BMWs ever built, based on the F22 2 Series but extensively reworked by BMW M with wider tracks, reinforced chassis components, and aggressive suspension tuning that transformed the smallest M car into a true driver’s machine, initially powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six producing 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque in standard form, later evolving into the M2 Competition with the more powerful S55 engine delivering 410 horsepower, paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that allowed the M2 to sprint from 0–100 km/h in as little as 4.2 seconds, but what truly defined the F87 was not just straight-line speed, it was the balance, steering feel, and playful rear-wheel-drive character that made it feel alive at any speed, using components borrowed from the M3 and M4 such as aluminum suspension arms, larger brakes, and an active M differential that provided incredible traction while still allowing controlled oversteer, visually the M2 F87 stood out with its muscular proportions, flared fenders, quad exhaust tips, aggressive front and rear bumpers, and compact stance that emphasized performance over elegance, while inside it combined modern BMW refinement with motorsport inspiration through supportive sport seats, M-specific instrumentation, and a driver-focused layout, the M2 F87 became famous for delivering a pure, old-school M experience in a modern package, offering immense performance without losing the mechanical feel and emotional connection that many enthusiasts felt larger and more complex M cars had begun to lose, cementing its status as a future classic and one of the most beloved M cars of the turbocharged era.
