If you choose to print the Rotatable Base version, the mechanism is designed to print as one piece. To get it moving smoothly after it comes off the build plate:

1. Take a fingernail, a dull craft knife, or a small flathead screwdriver.

2. Lightly pry the base element away from the rotating plate to break the tiny internal stringing/bonds. (as visible on pic below)
    

   

3. Give it a gentle twist, and it should spin freely! (Note: Please be careful if using a sharp tool!)
