Description

**Modular Pull-Out Transceiver Organizer for SFP, SFP+, SFP28 Modules**

Tired of loose SFP transceivers rattling in drawers or getting dusty/lost in a pile? This custom 3D-printed organizer fits 18 standard transceivers, or 10 SFP28 transceivers per tray, and keeps your optical modules neatly sorted, accessible, and protected.

**Key Features:**

- *Pull-out drawer trays* in vibrant colors (red, blue, purple, black shown) for easy access and visual sorting.

- Holds standard SFP/SFP+/SFP28 transceivers (same form factor) – tested with MikroTik, Fiberstore, ESR, and similar brands.

- Modular design: Multiple trays slide in/out smoothly; drawers stack or fit side-by-side for expansion.

- Protects modules from dust, scratches, and accidental drops while in storage.

- Great for homelabs, network closets, data centers, or IT pros managing fiber optics/25G networking gear.

**Compatibility:**

- Fits most SFP family transceivers (including 10G SFP+, 25G SFP28).

- Designed around slidable transceiver storage boxes

– remixable for other enclosures.

**Printing Recommendations:**

- Layer height: 0.2mm (Standard or 0.16mm for finer details on trays).

- Infill: 5% gyroid for strength without wasting filament.

- Hilbert Curve as the bottom surface pattern

- Walls: loops 2.

- Material: PLA or PETG (durable and easy); use multi-color if you have AMS for those eye-catching trays!

- Supports: Minimal – only on overhangs for drawer slides (tree supports).

- No raft/brim needed on good bed adhesion.

**Print time**

-trays x2 10h 32min
-shelf 1h 30min

-lid no logo 9h

-spacer (if needed not shown in pic) 42min

(adjust based on your setup).

**Assembly & Use:**

- Print trays and frame.

- Slide trays into rails

– snap-fit or friction hold (no glue required).

- Load your transceivers label-up for quick ID.

- Stack multiple units vertically or store in your existing box/drawer. Inspired by real-world homelab chaos

future Ideas

–Tweaks for different box sizes coming soon? Looking to add Horizontal expansion mode for massive collections: Rotate or remix trays to lay flat/side-by-side on shelves, walls, or racks—ideal if you have hundreds of transceivers and prefer wide, accessible horizontal storage over vertical stacking.

!! This keeps everything quiet, organized, and ready when you need to swap optics in switches/routers. If you print this, I'd love to see your makes! Drop a photo or rating, Remixes welcome
