Adapter plate for Raymarine C80 MFD to Garmin 93sv
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
- self-tapping screws x 4: small enough to fit the Garmin's mounting holes
- CA glue x 1: for strengthening the joints
Description
I had recently upgraded my chartplotter from a much older Raymarine C80 Classic to a more modern Garmin 93sv unit. Even though the display size is significantly larger, the overall unit's dimensions are smaller. This left a significant gap that I need to create a trim adapter piece for. This worked out perfectly. Due to the size of the adapter plate, it was divided into two parts. As such, I have a dovetail joiner. It works, but due to how thin it is, it might be difficult to join without breaking, so please take your time and make sure the joints are clean and smooth. I did not have any issue, but others may. I used CA glue to strengthen the joint.
I printed in black BambuLabs ASA-CF due to the fact that it will be exposed to direct sunlight and outdoors. The fit is perfect and the holes lined up with previous C80's mounting holes perfectly. I was able to reuse the existing holes with ease. I did not place holes for the Garmin unit as I knew I would be able to mount the unit using regular screws or even self-tapping ones. There was no need. This adapter plate may fit other units, but I can confirm it most likely will not fit a Garmin 943svx unit.
