Description

Boost Me (for free)

Hello! If you enjoy my designs and have a spare boost, I’d greatly appreciate your support as it helps me continue creating models for free on this platform. Thanks!

These are big brick accessories for healthcare-related big bricks (approx. 6:1), specifically for providers who intubate patients, such as anesthesiology, emergency medicine, pulmonology intensivists, paramedics, etc! It features a laryngoscope (specifically a macintosh, sorry miller users) and an endotracheal tube (ETT) for a big brick figure to hold.

Specialized providers perform endotracheal intubation to secure a patient's airway which enables mechanical ventilation and oxygen delivery. They use a laryngoscope to guide the endotracheal tube into the windpipe. This is usually done during surgeries while the patient is under anesthesia or in an emergency if the patient’s airway is compromised. This procedure ensures breathing during surgery, prevents airway obstruction, and protects against inhaling stomach contents.

Print one for your favorite, current, new or graduating Anesthesiologist, Emergency Medicine docs, Pulmonologist and/or Paramedic today!

The laryngoscope head screws on to a handle.

There are two options for the ETT:

  1. ETT without any additions. The additions (pilot balloon and cap) are printed separately.
    1. The cap fits on the top of the ETT without glue and the pilot balloon has to be superglued to the tube. Choose this option if you want to make the pilot balloon and cap different colors.
  2. ETT with the pilot balloon already attached. I created this option for people who do not want to use glue or want the pilot balloon to be the same color as the ETT. You still have to print out the cap separately.

Handle should fit most Big Bricks (approx 6:1) on Maker World, but make sure to check sizing prior to printing. Handle diameter is ~16.5 mm.

If you printed out some of the other medical accessories I have made above, then this health accessory will attach to those screwable handles.
