ESPTimeCast Case Square Pixel Remix ESP32 MAX7219

ESPTimeCast™ firmware compatible – unofficial build

I created a case for an ESP32 and MAX7219 to use as clock with the famous ESPTimeCast firmware.

I designed my own diffusor to change the round LEDs from the MAX7219 to square pixels.

For assembly you need some M2 screws (4 to 6mm).
Back and front plate is press fit.

The frontplate has a color change at layer 3

First 2 layers should be a white or similar filament and then black starting with layer 3

Hardware I used the following:

• MAX7219 module (8x32)
• ESP32 “Classic” (no S or C)
• Female Socket USB-C Plug (AliExpress Item# 1005008790585346)
• some wires
• some WAGOs
• some M2 Screws

ESPTimeCast is not allowing to use images that show the LED display with their firmware.

So I can only use some example images from the testing during creation of the diffusor.
