Description
Hello! I present a simple and quick-to-print keychain model featuring the Aircraft Checkerboard – the official symbol of the Polish Air Force. This is an ideal gadget for aviation enthusiasts, history buffs, and anyone looking for a patriotic accent for their keys
Why print this model
- Easy two-color printing: The red elements (squares and outline) are slightly raised. This makes the model 100% suitable for printing on single-extruder printers. Simply set a pause and change filament at the appropriate layer (Color Swap). Of course, owners of AMS/MMU systems will print it without any problems
- Fast print: An ideal project for "leftover" filament, it prints in just a dozen minutes
- Durability: The compact, flat design makes the keychain solid and prevents it from breaking in your pocket
Recommended print settings:
- Layer height: 0.08 mm or 0.16 mm
- Infill: 100% (or standard 15-20% – for such a small model, most of it will still be solid top and bottom layers)
- Supports: no supports
- Color change (for printers without AMS): Start printing with white, then change the filament to red at the layer where the raised squares and outline begin
Assembly: Simply attach a standard metal keyring to the finished print. The hole in the model has been specially designed to thread it through easily
