Simple universal/custom Vacuum/Hose adapter

A fully parametric vacuum hose adapter that you dial in to your exact diameters.

Set your tool port OD, your hose ID, wall thickness, and throat depth. Works for shop vacs, dust collectors, CNC machines, sanders, track saws

Two hose-end styles to choose from:

• Smooth — clean slip fit, easy on/off
• Retention Ring — single locking bead for a satisfying snap fit - Depending on your filament and how dialed in it is, you may want supports which will increase print time accordingly. 

All styles include a chamfered tool bore so the end guides itself. The hose end is without chamfer to eliminate the need for support or brim though if you have issues with adhesion, my first suggestion is to add a brim. 

Not sure about your fit before committing to the full print? Use the included  Test Ring prints a short custom calibration ring replicating either end's exact geometry. Takes minutes to print and saves you from a failed full-length adapter. I highly recommend this unless you are very familiar with your printer and filament tolerance allowances. 

If your size is slightly off I would recommend keeping the part and using a heat gun to get a good fit as opposed to wasting the filament. 

Print settings: No supports needed. Designed to print wide-end down. 2–3 perimeters recommended for a solid wall. PETG>PLA, but both work, I recommend PLA + at least. Also great in TPU or Flex PLA
