Stunning Jewellery Box with Flower Details 🌸

A spacious and elegant jewellery box designed to match my other models - with a strong focus on functionality, print quality and a beautiful finish.

This is a larger multi-part print, which is reflected in the total print time. The full build takes approximately 22 hours and uses around 680g of filament. It’s well worth it in my opinion and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do :-)

Design Features

  • 2 drawers with different inserts for several types of jewellery
  • 1 compartment with inserts placed under the lid
  • Removable inserts that can be printed in different colors (no AMS required)

If you plan to use the box for other items and prefer standard drawer space, simply skip printing the inserts and scale the remaining parts to suit your needs.

Important Notice

Some parts require supports to achieve the best result and avoid visible layer lines.

The support settings and orientation of the parts have been carefully customized and tested for each part to ensure a clean surface, stable printing and easy removal.

Some parts may look oriented a bit “unusual”, but please do not change orientation or support settings in the print profile if you want results matching the photos.

Looks good! I recommend if you want to get a really clean print on the lid part, to print it at an angle - like the print profile. Uses up a bit more filament for support but the quality will be soo much better😄

This turned out absolutely beautiful. I had a heck of a time printing the main box but I think it was my fault because I'm new to all this but the end result I'm so pleased with. Thank you so much for sharing

Thank you for sharing the picture! I can definitely see what you mean with the main body. I would highly recommend starting a full calibration, tweak heat and fan cooling + possibly reduce the print speed significantly for inner/outer walls. There are loads of different tests for overhangs, temp towers etc. on makerworld, so you can find the most optimal settings. Just keep in mind different filament types and brands may have different tolerances, even if it’s all labeled PLA😊

I have printed the part multiple times with my 3D printer and truly tried everything to get a good result. I used various materials, all directly from Bambu Lab, including PLA. I worked with different speeds, both slow at 50 percent and at the standard speed of 100 percent. I also varied the temperature, setting it both lower and higher. The print bed was clean and in good condition. Despite all these attempts, the result at the end was not satisfactory. The part basically works, but it looks visually very bad and has many printing defects. Overall, I cannot recommend it.

Did you follow the designated print profile? How did you orient the different parts? As mentioned, the orientation is key to get a flawless print with good detail, so I recommend using the print profile provided. If you can share some more info and pictures of your issue, I might be able to help. I’ve printed several of these myself on both A1Mini and P2S with different filaments - including off brand PLA - and I’ve never had an issue with quality, so I’m sorry to hear that..

This is some images up close taken with flash, to show the printing quality and detail level. I’ve worked very hard to make sure the detail and quality is excellent. I’m not sure what could have gone wrong without further information, but I would love to help if possible. I’ve never had a print fail of this model, although several has been printed in different brands of PLA (basic, plus, wood and matte).

Hi, first of all, thank you for the boost - really appreciate it! You can freely scale it to 125% (or bigger) depending on your needs. It’s just very important that you double check all parts are scaled to the same percentage, so everything fits together😄
