Description
Qbrick System M8 threaded insert.
I created this insert, inspired by the original, which is almost always sold out.
The insert has a chamfer that helps with insertion into its seat, and then it features a 13mm diameter part with a Funny Skin texture that increases friction once inserted. The tolerances are very precise; the insert needs to be hammered in to fit. The screw should be screwed in carefully, ensuring it is very straight. Everything fits and screws in; I have tried it many times, so just be careful. If desired, a classic iron screw can also be used instead of the printed one.
Once everything is inserted, you are ready to screw in any Qbrick System module or accessory! Have fun!
A Boost would not be bad since it's the only existing model on all of MakerWorld ;)
