This is a reinforced remix of the Addpex EVO camera mount, redesigned for improved durability and easier assembly on 5-inch FPV builds.

What’s New in This Remix
Integrated Bottom Bumper
A protective TPU bumper was added to the lower section to better absorb impacts during crashes and protect the camera and front frame.
Embedded M3 Nut System (Pause-Insert Method)
Replaces heat-set threaded inserts, which often spin freely or fail to seat properly in flexible materials.
- The print pauses automatically at the correct layer (Layer 61 with 0.20mm layer height)
- Insert standard M3 hex nuts manually
- Resume printing to fully lock the nuts inside the part
This creates a far more reliable and serviceable mounting solution for TPU prints.
Why This Version Exists
Heat-set inserts in TPU can be unreliable due to the material’s elasticity. This design uses mechanically captured nuts instead, eliminating stripped mounts and spinning inserts while keeping the part field-repairable.

Print Settings Used
- Material: TPU 95A
- Walls: 6 perimeters
- Infill: 95%
- Designed for maximum rigidity while retaining impact absorption
Hardware Requirements
- M3 hex nuts
- Nut dimensions used in the design:
- Width: 5.40 mm
- Height: 2.4 mm
Recommended for Bottom Bumper (Optional)
For improved durability and impact resistance, it is recommended to install:
- M3×12 mm screws
- Wide washers
Using wide washers helps distribute impact forces across the TPU bumper and prevents the screws from pulling through during hard crashes
