Description

Overview

A clean, minimalist solution for labeling apartment doorbells or mailboxes. Also my first design that i'm uploading here! :)

This design includes two versions to fit your specific needs:

  1. Single Slot: Perfect for individual doorbells or adding a single name to a frame.
  2. 5-Slot (Vertical): Designed for multi-unit apartment panels (as seen in the cover photo).

Features

  • Slide-in Design: Easily swap paper labels without removing the holder from the wall.
  • Side Grip: Includes a subtle texture on the right edge to make it easy to slide the unit or the labels in and out.
  • Low Profile: Slim enough to fit between most doorbell buttons and the door frame.

How to add the label:

  1. Cut out a piece of paper that's 45mm x 30mm.
  2. Write your name down with a permamarker or something else.
  3. Add 1 layer of transparent tape around it, so it stays waterproof.
  4. Put it inside the namelabel, you're done!

How get is on you doorbell:

There are multiple ways, but for me just using double sided tape work the easiest.

If you want to use nails then that works fine too, but i recommend that you add it to a plate so it is easier to keep it there. If you want any advice, feel free to ask!

Recommended Print Settings

  • Material: PETG is recommended if the doorbell is exposed to direct sunlight or rain. PLA works fine for indoor hallways.
  • Supports: No supports needed when using PLA, with PETG i needed supports.
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm works great for a balance of speed and detail.
