LEGOs Speed Champions - Back to the Future Display

The Time Machine has officially taken off.

I designed a custom flying display for the new Legos Speed Champions Time Machine from Back to the Future, and this one is all about motion and drama. The car is mounted in a slightly angled flying position, supported by a clean, minimal stand that makes it look like it just lifted off.

Behind it, a full Hueforge backplate brings the iconic Back to the Future logo and fiery time trail to life with layered color printing. The depth and texture give it that retro movie poster energy while keeping everything clean and display ready.

The model is printed in 6 parts and designed for easy assembly.

Additional Parts Required

You will need 4 extra Legos plates:

• 3 × 1x2 plates
• 1 × 2x2 plate

Black is recommended for the cleanest look. These are used inside the minifig holder and the car holder.

This display is designed to:

• Hold the Time Machine in flying mode
• Showcase both minifigs
• Create a clean shelf presence without bulky supports

Print Instructions

Hueforge backplate

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.24mm

• Start with Black
• At layer #5 (0.56mm) swap to Dark Blue
• At layer #8 (0.8mm) swap to Blue
• At layer #11 (1.04mm) swap to Red
• At layer #17 (1.52mm) swap to Yellow
• At layer #22 (1.92mm) swap to White for the rest.

Other parts

Print at 15% infill with a layer height of 0.20mm with a base layer of 0.24mm. Some parts require supports.
