Description

This is a replacement for the mickey bubble wand reservoir. They sell the bubble wands at the parks and online but they don't seel the bubble holder. The whole thing cost $50 and after the kids broke the bubble holder it became useless. It's criminal how much they charge and even more so that the holder is so flimsy. So to save some money buying a whole new one that would break again I designed a stronger one in CAD and printed it.

I used printed solid's Jessie Premium PLA 1.75mm X Yellow Bird filament.

No supports are needed.

Use what ever infill % you desire.

Thank goodness for this model! I thought I'd have to spend another $32 + tax on a new bubble wand!

does it leak? I’m thinking petg but I’m out and was wondering if PLA is watertight for this. or if certain amount of walls or temp

I just printed in yellow petg. 5 walls, 0.12. Turned out good. I will test if it leaks and let you know.

Hi I meant to post earlier. I tried storing water in it over night. I held the water over night, but noticed a couple spot where a droplet of water seemed to come through. But i figured since the bubble solutions i thicker, it might work. I have had some in there for 2 days and no leaking bubble solution so far.

Looks great and threads in with no issues. I printed in translucent orange PETG on the textured plate. However, one should either use the smooth plate, as the textured plate does not make a good seal inside the wand. Without a good seal, the wand makes a bubbly mess when handled by a toddler.

Great looking design but unfortunately my bubble storage is fine which is good but the threads that it screws into are buggered on the side that the battery cover is on. Which is a much bigger fix.
