R2D2 Chicano Style - HueForge Print

Here's a HueForge print of everyone's favourite droid, reimagined in Chicano style!

You can quite honestly print this in any combination of colours that suit your fancy, but I picked a more 'wood-like' colour palette. The included 3MF file will have the colour swaps already loaded for those of you using Bambu printers and Bambu studio.

If you do not use Bambu studio, you can load up the STL and use the instructions below!

If you want to resize this print, PLEASE ONLY resize the X and Y dimensions, and not the Z height as that will mess up the layer swaps!

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.2mm

Filaments Used:

• PLA BambuLab Matte Charcoal Transmission Distance: 0.6
• PLA+ Overture Dark Blue Transmission Distance: 4
• PLA META Sunlu Teal Transmission Distance: 5.4
• PLA BambuLab Basic Brown Transmission Distance: 2
• PLA+ Sunlu Coffee Transmission Distance: 3
• PLA BambuLab Basic Jade White Transmission Distance: 5

Swap Instructions:

• Start with Charcoal
• At layer #9 (0.84mm) swap to Dark Blue
• At layer #12 (1.08mm) swap to Teal
• At layer #16 (1.4mm) swap to Brown
• At layer #18 (1.56mm) swap to Coffee -At layer #20 (1.72mm) swap to Jade White for the rest.
