🏠 Gatekeeper's House – Level Crossing and/or Switch Change (19th–20th Centuries)
I present the model of a gatekeeper's house, a typical dwelling used by those in charge of guarding level crossings and railway switches in various parts of the country during the 19th and 20th centuries.
This is a construction inspired by old photographs of real buildings, now ruined, recreated with the greatest possible fidelity. The model reproduces proportions, volumes, and architectural details characteristic of this type of early 20th-century railway housing, achieving a result very close to reality.
🔎 Model Features:
- Design based on historical photographic documentation.
- Maximum level of detail in facades, windows, and roof.
- Ideal for railway models, dioramas, rural settings, or historical recreations.
- Scalable according to the needs of each project.
🛠️ Assembly
The model is divided into independent parts.
It is necessary to use glue for the correct assembly of the walls and to ensure a firm and durable structure.
For a better finish, it is recommended:
- Gentle sanding before assembly.
- Painting and weathering for greater realism.
- Assemble on a flat surface to ensure perfect squares.
If you have any questions about printing, assembly, or configuration, feel free to write in the comments. I will be happy to help.
I hope you like it and that it becomes part of many railway models! 🚂
