Problem: Mounting smoke detectors on slanted walls or pitched roofs can be tricky. Often, the detector sits at an odd angle, which can look displeasing or affect the aesthetic of the room.
Solution: This 3D-printed mount compensates for the angle of the wall, providing a horizontal surface to attach your smoke detector securely.

- Perfect Fit: Designed for smoke detectors with a 110mm (11cm) diameter.
- Slanted Wall Correction: Ideal for loft conversions, attics, and rooms with pitched roofs.
- Includes Dust Cover: I have included an optional "Dust Cap" file. This is incredibly useful during painting, sanding, or renovation work to protect the mount and detector base from dust. (Note: Please remember to remove the cap once renovations are done and reinstall the smoke detector!)
- More Sizes Coming Soon: Currently sized for 110mm, but I plan to upload variations for other diameters in the future.
Printing Instructions & Pro-Tips:
- Material: PETG is highly recommended for durability and temperature resistance, ABS will also work.
- Infill: 15-20% is sufficient for structural integrity.
- đĽ Multi-Material Support Tip (Highly Recommended): Due to the geometry, supports are required. If you have a multi-material system (like Bambu Lab AMS), I strongly recommend using a dissimilar material for the support interface. For example, if you print the main part in PETG, use PLA for the support interface layers (or vice versa). Since PETG and PLA do not bond to each other, the supports will pop off effortlessly and leave a perfectly clean overhang surface!
Installation:
- Screw this printed mount onto your slanted ceiling/wall.
- Click your smoke detector into place.
Disclaimer: Ensure the mount is screwed tightly to the wall so the detector cannot fall.
