Description

Teach your pets a little science while they snack! This set features two of the most well-known “feel-good” molecule, serotonin and dopamine, perfect for celebrating the chemistry behind those happy tail flicks and purrs. These designs can be added to other models in the series when you need a more standard food bowl for them to eat out of. I have also uploaded a version that combines the two models to make a slow feeder to help prevent choking and upset stomachs. This can be downloaded here.

While coating isn’t strictly required, if you plan to use these regularly for food, I recommend sealing the prints with a food-safe resin to reduce bacterial growth in the natural pores of FDM prints. I typically apply a thin coat with a disposable brush and whichever food-safe resin is most affordable at the time of purchase.

For printing, I used a 0.6 mm nozzle since there are no intricate details. If you’re working with a filament prone to warping, adding a brim can help keep the puzzle edges flat. The included print profiles also feature a programmed pause, allowing you to swap filament colors between the beakers and the base plate.
